"Marketing 101"--February 28th, 2009

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a new video from a fellow author/writer, Ms. Melissa M. Williams of Long Tale Publishing. She is the author of the children's chapter book, Iggy The Iguana and she was featured on my show, The Soul of Humanity on February 4th, 2009. Be sure to listen to the re-broadcast of our interview HERE

She has created a new video documentary and (as a very smart tactic) has utilized children's reviews as well as teacher testimonials to help promote her work as a public speaker and author. Be sure to watch the video to help show your support.

You can view the video on my right-hand sidebar of my blog (look at the top right under "Iggy Tube" or simply navigate to the follow URL below and stream the video directly from YouTube.com.

Thanks, Bobby! I just found out about Teacher Tube, so I will be posting everything Iggy related on that site. Its way more secure, and teachers and students can log on at school.

That is totally cool... too bad we don't have that type of exposure or avenue to easily promote our work as (adult) fiction novelists... If there was only a way to grab the attention of the reader world and say: Look, yes, I am self-published but that does NOT take away from the content within my book. Proud Souls has had an impact on everyone who has dared to pick it up and jeez, if you loved The Shack (which a million readers did), then you may fall in love as well with Proud Souls. Kudos for you! You are doing a great job! I am glad I have been able to help with the follow-up novel for Iggy and his team. I am still waiting on material to review....???
