"The Soul of Humanity"--April 8th, 2009

"The Soul of Humanity"--April 8th, 2009

On tonight's edition of The Soul of Humanity, I am going to discuss a recent "hot" topic with relation to Amazon.com and their policy on author reviews and product links. If you have not yet read the article, please navigate HERE to read it; it was posted by author, Cheryl K. Tardif and I received the forwarded message/posting via John Kremer's Book Marketing network on Ning. I also received a forwarded email from my friend Rita Mills and my author friend, Melissa M. Williams of Longtale Publishing.
Also featured on my show this week will be Jan Roelofs of PersonalJaz.com. She has donned herself a "lecture agent" which in a nutshell means this: She is a lecture & presentation coach, connecting speakers with venues appropriate for their skillset. She helps with editorial work and other aspects of the self publishing process and I believe plays a critical role in the successes of authors, especially independents like myself.

You can learn more about Jan Roelofs and her organization, PersonalJaz.com by following this URL.

Be sure to listen LIVE tonight @ 7PM CST via the Artist First Radio Network as I discuss this policy enforcement and its uproar within the indie author community and also meet Jan Roelofs and learn how she and her organization might help further your career.

I want your thoughts and feedback on the recent uproar with relation to Amazon's enforcement policy on reviews and signatures!!!

Loved the show. In my opinion to Amazon's recent policy, I think somebody on their board is out of touch with their market. Jan, I think what you are doing is awesome. I already sent you an email. Bobby, what else can I say except keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for being part of my listening audience. Hard to believe that the young big mouth kid who cut through the alley to hang out with you and your brother, played video games with the neighbor for hours, played baseball sandlot style across from your home and who once sat in your WHEELBARREL full of water to stay cool in the summer heat...has his OWN venue on a world wide listening platform...isn't it?

Thanks for the kudos on the show... I am really reaching here when I say, my intention is to provide a platform to help others who may have been in my shoes a few years ago or who are having difficulty finding forums to support their creative endeavors. I hope in time I can break the mold and show that a serving spirit IS the right approach to anything you do...anything you believe in...

who knows....maybe a lowly writer from Fort Worth, Texas, who once shared a home with ten people, can help inspire the creative world to believe in shores they've never heard of and reach for stars that are yet to be mapped...

Thanks for supporting me and helping to spread the word...

I truly want to thank you for being a guest on my show. I hope you and I continue to establish a working and networking relationship to help others as they pursue their dreams and creative endeavors.

Please keep me posted on all you do to help others find success...

Your new friend,
~Bobby

I value those who have a heart for "the little guy," as my dad used to say. There are so many amazing speakers and authors; examples of courage during these best and worst of times.

Why thank you Anonymous...I truly appreciate it when people see and understand the efforts (and pains) I take to try to help others up the ladder. Bobby Ozuna's philosophy is this: Help ten people up the ladder and ten more people will be there to help you up when it's your time...

Thanks for listening!
